FAQ
Here are some of the questions our clients frequently ask us.
A: Usually, yes. We want to create an environment that works for you - not us. Your involvement is essential to success. Depending on the project, we may just need initial planning and direction from you so that we can create the organized space that you want. For some projects, your needs may be best served if we work with you side-by-side.
Q: Will you make me throw away all of my things? A: No, you decide what is kept and what is eliminated. We encourage people to keep those things that contribute to their organizational goals, and let go of items that are a distraction to their goals.
Q: How am I going to stay organized after you leave? A: There are two main points to consider when answering this question. First, the organization systems we design are individualized for the way you live and think. It is much easier to maintain a system that is in concert with your lifestyle than one that is unsynchronized with your life. Second, we teach you how to maintain the organization; and, should you have a question we are a phone call away.
Q: What will my neighbors say if they see I have hired a professional organizer? A: Unless you tell them, your neighbors will not know. We work confidentially, and we arrive in unmarked cars.
Q: What is this going to cost me? A: Understandably, people are concerned about costs. Costs are based on length of time an organizer is on-site, providing support services, and providing phone coaching. It is impossible to provide a figure over the phone or through email. Project costs and alternatives are discussed during the initial appointment or consultation. The cost for the first two-hour appointment is $100.
Q: How are you paid? A: Unless arranged otherwise, payment is made at the end of an appointment. We take cash, checks, Mastercard and Visa.
